Pizza legs. You don't want them, whatever they are. But have you ever asked yourself - do pizza legs actually exist?
The right kind of pizza is actually great pre-race food - a good blend of carbs and protein. This is particularly the case with whole wheat crusts and lighter toppings. Though I've eaten a Papa John's pizza the night before a strenuous training ride with other racers and felt better than normal.
